Daddy got to share one of his passions with Cooper yesterday...cars, cars, and more cars. We went to the Cincinnati Auto Show. Grandpa Alan and Susie came along too! In particular Cooper enjoyed trying out the Mini Cooper. As you can see, he liked it a lot! :) Cooper and Daddy also checked out the minivans....(Daddy think his next car will be an STI, but Mommy knows better!).

A New Skill
Well, I knew it would happen...it just came so fast. Cooper is advancing more and more every day. He has been standing while holding on to things for a few weeks now...but last night he really proved how strong he is. He lifted himself up from a seated position!!! In this video Tomo is helping him b/c his hands were too small to get a grip on the table. But then we let him grip his toy chest and up he went completely on his own! Unfortunately, he would not repeat for the camera. He's just amazing!!!!!

Playtime with Xander
Cooper's cousins Xander and Kainan came to play on Sunday. Cooper and Xander had lots of fun playing with Cooper's zoo toy! It's fun watching Cooper start to interact with other people, especially other kids.
Preparing for 2012
Since Cooper did not have time to prepare for the 2010 Winter Olympics, he is working on keeping his flexibility up so he can participate in gymnastics in the 2012 Summer games.

Favorite Toy
Cooper has found his favorite toy in the house. We had this bouncer pretty much since his birth but he has developed quite a liking to it recently. Maybe since he is eating more, he wants to spend all the extra energy some how. It's a riot watching him bounce around and go in circles in this thing.

What are we doing out here?!?
We got about 8 inches of snow on Friday...and it was time for Cooper to experience it! We got all bundled up and went to play in the backyard. Cooper didn't really seem to know what to think of it. He sat pretty quietly while we threw snow all over the place, made snow angel legs with his legs, made him stand waist deep in snow...and yeah....generally acted like kids ourselves. It was really cold out (especially when the wind started blowing!) so Cooper and his rosy cheeks only stayed outside for a few minutes. Overall, I think Cooper enjoyed it...just wait until next year....sledding!!!! :-D
