Cooper's been doing this quite often when he is focusing on a task. Abigail chews on her tongue when she's focusing, Cooper does this...
At least it's not as annoying :-P

Even though Mommy and Daddy didn't let me eat the chocolate on the inside...I really enjoyed chewing on my kinder eggs that Charlotte sent me! Her daddy brought them all the way from Germany! Yummy! :-D

We got about 8 inches of snow on Friday...and it was time for Cooper to experience it! We got all bundled up and went to play in the backyard. Cooper didn't really seem to know what to think of it. He sat pretty quietly while we threw snow all over the place, made snow angel legs with his legs, made him stand waist deep in snow...and yeah....generally acted like kids ourselves. It was really cold out (especially when the wind started blowing!) so Cooper and his rosy cheeks only stayed outside for a few minutes. Overall, I think Cooper enjoyed it...just wait until next year....sledding!!!! :-D

I can do so many cool things when I sit up!

Cooper is having a blast sitting up to play with all of his toys! He is learning how to move things, stack things, bang things, and of course he still puts most everything in his mouth! He particularly enjoys playing with his train, his stacking rings, and his zoo toy. Check out our flickr page for more fun pictures!

Look Who's Growing Up 2

So during the trip to Japan, Cooper was showing signs of sitting up all on his own. Now that we are back in Ohio, he's pretty much mastered it. He'll still topple over once in a while but he still enjoys playing with his toys sitting up.
He's learning so many things so quickly...

Serious Playtime!

Cooper is gaining more and more strength in his neck! He is getting so good and sitting and loves to be a part of whatever is going on. The bumbo chair is an excellent opportunity for some serious playtime. Cooper's hand eye coordination is amazing! He can reach out and grip things and can manipulate objects in his hands (in this picture he is playing with his elephants, Jeffery and Belinda). He has even started to do tummy time without complaint and is pushing up on his elbows!!

We had a giraffe!

Well, we thought we had a little boy...but it turns out we have a giraffe!!!! Aunt Alexandra got Cooper a super awesome Halloween costume! Cooper wore his costume to school on Friday and, of course, was a total hit. He seemed to be very comfortable and didn't even mind the hood! Today we'll make sure to get a good picture of his little tail on his little tushy... :) So, he's got a pumpkin, he's got a costume, we're going "trunk or treating" at school in a little bit, and he's all ready to hand out candy to the kids tonight! Yay for Halloween!!

3 Months Old

Cooper is three months old! It's been a wild ride so far and Cooper is growing so fast. He is now three months old, doesn't mind sitting up, plays with toys, has baby conversations with daddy and mommy, and loves Michigan Football!! He has been very popular at his "school" and has so many girls around him... what a stud.
Recently he received pictures of Maddi and Charlotte and can't wait until he gets to meet them. He's also waiting for his other friend to come anytime.
